things the rally monkey says

[We're watching 27 Dresses, as YT is a romcom fan.]

RM: Can they make a sequel called 28 Dresses, where Kevin Doyle realizes he's a cross-dresser?

I regret that I cannot chime in as I have not yet seen 27 Dresses. I wanted to, because I am a chick's chick.

But having read and chortled at previous RM observations I am certain it is both pithy and highly amusing. Whenever I get the chance to see 27 Dresses for my very own self I will keep his question in mind.

Or how about a crossover sequel--Ocean's 28 Dresses?

You know Clooney would look good in a dress...

I was watching that movie tonight too!

Okay, now I have a mental picture of George Clooney AND Kevin Doyle in bridesmaid's dresses.

BAAAAHHH! *runs away*

Derek--I LOVE IT!!

Sure they can--wasn't it called "Enchanted"?

Even better, let's make him use his Cyclops lasers to cut the dress from a pair of curtains.

I loooved "27 Dresses!" I made my husband watch it on DVD (after he made me watch "Full Metal Jacket"), and I think he enjoyed it despite his protests that it wasn't a manly man movie! This past weekend, I made him watch "Julie & Julia" (after I had to watch "Army of Darkness"). He said he would've liked it more if I hadn't been eating Trader Joe's cheddar popcorn the whole time and crinkling the mylar bag so it drowned out the dialog. Men are so picky! ;-)

I'd never heard of 27 Dresses, so I thought he was talking about a sequel to 28 Days (with or without the Later). Which together with Derek's Ocean's 28 Dresses really started to turn my head inside-out.

You've told the story before of where Rally Monkey got his nickname. Still a great story. But sometimes, from these things-he-says posts, I can't help thinking of him as Rally Gnome. Because he's so, y'know, gnomic.

Clooney would look good in anything, Derek. Of course, he'd probably look even better in nothing ;)

Oh snap, JES might have suggested the greatest movie of all: 28 Dresses Later. Let's do this.

Ah, mediocre minds think alike! 28 Dresses Later, a genre-bending zombie chick-flick!! I can't wait.
