..why? (Your Questions continued)

Catdownunder reasonably asks, Having read all these...why do you do this? :-)

I'm addicted to blogging. That's why.

They say, though, that the first step is admitting you have a problem...

I wonder how many of us are indeed addicted to blogging (or Facebook or Twitter). I know I've gone wobby when I couldn't access one of the above...

I don't know about addicted, but I know I'm writing less fiction since I started blogging. On the other hand, I'm thinking a lot about the craft while I'm blogging, so hopefully my writing is getting stronger. Net plus?

To be fair, you only admitted that you're addicted. You never said you had a problem ;-)

Adam--well it's not a problem per SE. It hasn't, like, caused me to lose friends. I can totally control it. I CAN TOTALLY CONTROL IT!!

ahem.

I am wondering if it can technically be called an addiction...Could it be more like an innate craving to be a part of something or to create? ...or is that what an addiction is?...LOL I'm confusing myself now...

Funny how some people see this as a chore and other's see it as enjoyable. I am also addicted--I love it. I've made great friends. You know what else I've made? A CONNECTION that seems to be going somewhere. But I think that never would have happened if I didn't so obviously love it.

That's the first step to solving a problem. Blog addiction is not a problem that needs solving. :)

I wonder if there's a twelve step...
