I've always been partial to Esc. Or Tab. I wonder when that soda is going to get here?

I think my space bar gets the most love, judging by the amount of shine/wear on it... But secretly I'm in love with the curly brackets! Shh, don't tell.

Careful! Don't delete yourself!

Mine is ctrl+z (undo). It's like going back in time.

Ooooh, Rick! Great idea for a middle grade book. "Roscoe and the Amazing Time Travel Keyboard."

Rick--oh yes. I too am a big fan of changing my mind. I also like (to a lesser degree) control+Y, so I can change it back again.

Delete is good but backspace is better.

I am a fan of the ~tilde~ myself.

Get out of my head!!!!!

I prefer the "I" key--but some people say I'm egocentric.

"F-2" for me.

It does delete things (in certain programming languages) ... but I think I like the "F" in-front the best. Because when I'm using it I'm really thinking "F-U, too!"

Wish I could hit a "delete" button in real life conversations and a number of other situations!

My delete button doesn't work. Is 160,000 words too long for a first manuscript? Wait. Sorry. I'm not done yet. I'll get back to you with a final word count.

When you push it three times it really feels good...delete, delete, delete.

You need one of these.

I do adore the delete key - but the backspace is closest to my heart :)

Not my favorite yet. I guess that means I need to delete a lot more still.

In my dreams, I imagine you typing out

My favorite button on the keyboard by fart!

then deleting the t and having a quiet chuckle to yourself.

I'm with the "undo" crowd as well. :)

I can always tell if I've been on the computer too much if I do something in real life and think "Ah! Undo! Where's the undo?"

Josin L. McQuein said...

Delete and Backspace are wonderful inventions. As is "Print Screen".

I didn't know that ctrl+z was undo, so I have officially learned something today.

I keep hitting HOME, but nothing's happening.

If you like Delete, you'll love Ctrl-A Ctrl-X.

Use it only once, and your world is suddenly a much... simpler place.

That post length to number of comments ration is becoming extreme.
