I want to know who killed Asmodean, too!!

Here's Harriet talking to Brandon about how he got assigned to write the conclusion. Apparently, he came to her house and she asked him if he wanted some dinner. He was like, "No, I want to know how it ends. How it ends, and who killed Asmodean!" Attaboy.

The Gathering Storm! Today! I'm not sure I'm going to buy one right now, though. I think I'm going to wait until Brandon is signing in NY on November 9.

That's exactly what my husband said, including whether or not to wait for the local signing. I just hope he reads it after Halloween and before Thanksgiving. He just finished re-reading the first eleven (?) and I'd like him to be "in town" for the holidays. The kids miss him.

I'm sorry, Kate. I understand (from the RM, as well as from my brother's girlfriend) that this is hardest on the Wheel of Time Widows.

What a great clip. Brandon seems so nice and you can tell he genuinely loves the series. And it's wonderful that Jordan's widow can guide the project to its conclusion with the help of her husband's notes.

I await the book in the mail today. No waiting here! Though I'm still planning on going to the signing here in TX when he comes. I just can't wait any longer to find out what happens to Egwene, and the rest I suppose. ;)

I'm so glad I'm not alone in this and that we actually have a name: Wheel of Time Widows. Hubs is currently rererereading the series(I have no idea which book he's on right now). While we were in the bookstore the other day, he dragged me over to the SFF section to show me the inside back page of the most recent book, which explained about the coming books. He lamented how the ending is now actually three books and wondered how good this new guy is really going to be. I'm so sending him a link to this post!

Oh, c'mon, everyone knows who killed Asmodean. It's just they all disagree.

By the way, does it say something about narrative drive when the two biggest mysteries are 1) where's Moiraine and 2) who killed Asmodean, since those are both like 6, 7 books ago?

Mwahahaha! Brandon is signing at a library in Vegas on Saturday, and I am so going to be there!

I don't know how people have time to read the series AGAIN though. Maybe it's because I have little kids. Though reading the first four or five books is a bit tempting. It's been a really long time.

I just finished my copy of the book! Brandon is doing a signing here on Monday, and I am going to be there! I read his work before the WoT and have always been a fan.

Since he's a local author, and used to be one of my friends roommates, I've met him several times and he is a really nice person. And great writer. :D
