more nerdporn for word lovers!

Debbie at HarperStudio put up this droolable visual post last Friday with all kinds of art made out of words and books. I only stole one of her examples; it's a Saatch & Saatchi ad, so I figured no one would mind if I copied it. But check out the Book House! Or the page sheets! The octopus!

I'd like to contribute my favorite political t-shirt ever: Obama's portrait, rendered in the words of his "A More Perfect Union" speech.

Umm, is there something wrong with me if I find that picture strangely sexy?

I'd say I'm more than a nerd - I'm a Gerd

A geeky nerd.

Just wish I could create things like that.

Maybe it's time for a few classes ;)

Never too late to teach an old dog or old photoshopist

I cannot decide which picture in the link is cooler, the alice-tea-party-pop-up or the story sheets.......I wonder how hard it would be to get story sheets printed....like of the first page of your book.....hmmm.
Yes, it would be self-indulgent....but COOL!

EEK! I want that bedspread! :D

Maybe it's a set of duvet covers for one whole book? Brilliant! ;)

I have to pass on this one.

The possibility of stubble 'n' comma velcro/waxing injuries brings tears to my eyes.

These pictures speak my language! If I had a book written on my comforter, I wouldn't sleep.

Hi! I've seen many of these images before. We collect them in one place (pressingdigressions.com) I love the Alice one and the comforter!

May I send you the link to my own word-cake porn? This was me trying to impress my friends by having words and cake all at once.

So adorable!

There's something very comforting and caring about all those pics. And the pic you chose is for Australia Post, so thanks for the nod to us Down Under.

(Moonrat, you would absolutely love Australia. My home town of Melbourne is now a "City of Literature". I think the great coffee might have helped!)

Oh....wow.

I finally figured out what this reminds me of... the A-Ha video "Take On Me" where the guy steps out of the comic book!

This is so cool!!
It would be a great cover for a romance, one with the heroine falling in love with a character.
--WAIT! I've already done that when I stole a character from a friend's book. She wasn't using him, so he's in my basement for. . . uh, my convienence. Shhh, don't tell my husband. . .
;-)

Love it!!!

My very favorite from that link is the one with the squid and the ship...with the tagline "Words create worlds."...now I'm spending an inordinate amount of time on sharesomecandy.com trying to find the original post and artist.

I love the one from your link with the Alice in Wonderland tea party. How do people think of (and do) these things?
