as long as we're posting random people's wedding videos

I get very sentimental. One of these made me cry because it was awesome, the other made me pee my pants laughing. I'm not telling you which is which, though.

Video One
Video Two

Happy Friday! Try not to get married this weekend.

Too awesome for words. That second video is the wedding heard around the world - my aunt showed it to me two days ago!

Those were both totally awesome. First time I'd seen either. Thanx for sharing.

I emailed my sister a link to the second video last week and she emailed back that she wants to get married all over again just so that she could have a cool ceremony like that. Personally, I think being a bridesmaid in a ceremony like that would be even more fun without having to deal with the whole getting married thing!

I think the first video is just a lesson to anyone who is getting married, do not get married standing next to a pool. Clearly this bride never heard of Murphy's Law.

I once attended a wedding where the Official Photographer interrupted the vicar to draw a curtain that was letting in a distracting beam of light.

Thanks for the links.

Note to self - If I get married again - don't stand near water...

The second one is sooo coo-el! The first one is just painful to watch, like a car accident....and yet I couldn't look away.......

(Yeah, I laughed. I felt bad about it afterwards, but I laughed).

The question is- How much drinking was involved? Could either have happened otherwise?

How timely. My wedding anniversary was Aug 1. Point of interest: due to a multitude of difficulties, I was 30 min late to my wedding, a fact that DH regularly reminds me of.

This year, his reminder took this form: "Do you know that our entire marriage is missing 30 min? From now to eternity, we will be married 30 min less than we should have been?" Love you too, sweetie!

The first one has an ad for shoe lifts ("be taller!") at the end, an I couldn't help but think... is THAT why he tripped?! Bad shoe lifts?

When the pastor and bride went into the pool, the only proper thing would have been for the groom to dive in right after them and declare, "I'm here to marry the most beautiful woman in the world, sir. Proceed!"
