"Another"? Are you collecting them?

This may be a sort of nesting behavior.

Giraffes and rhinos and pythons always bring a tear to my eyes. You just know that in the event of a nuclear holocaust, they will inevitably fall way behind cats, dogs and lickul fluffee bunnee wabbits on the list of "creatures you might consider taking in".

Awwwww. The SF zoo now has a baby giraffe. I can't wait to go and see him!

I'd rather take in a giraffe than a bunny. Giraffes would probably be more useful, especially in case of nuclear holocaust. :-)

Oh I love babies and this is the easiest kind to enjoy - in a picture where someone else is the momma

:)

So cute.

Hahahahaha! I love you so much, Moonrat. I adore you as much as a giraffe's neck is long.

One of my FAVORITE picture books that I read to my kids when they were little is called "Giraffes Can't Dance." Oh, ditto Cindy. I love giraffes too!!

Huh. I don't know what your assistant looks like, but she must have been with my 2-year-old and me today, because we saw this very thing at the zoo this morning.
