Wait, you still have your numbers!

Well you're helping the economy, but ... Amazon?

Use Powell's. They're indie! There are no controversies surrounding them! (wiki: Amazon)

And ... they have a level of corporate responsibility that Amazon simply doesn't (climatecounts.org)

JohnO--you know what? I will!!

The thought had never occured to me. I was so focused on failing to not click that little button.

You know what's free?? The excerpts of this year's Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award quarterfinalists! :D

All quarterfinalist entries can be found here (by genre):
http://www.amazon.com/abna

And of course a shameless plug for mine, THE GOOD DAUGHTERS: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UG3AIM/

:P

In seriousness, I know all of us quarterfinalists would greatly appreciate people reading and rating/reviewing our works to help us advance in the contest. The excerpts are only about 20 pages so they don't take long to read. You could help us make our dreams come true...

Thanks!

I would love to help, Moonrat! Just send me all your credit cards and I'll take care of it. After a few days, Amazon will be the least of your problems.

(Heehee, just kidding...)

Don't worry American economy: Moonrat to the rescue! :) I've had one of those Amazon days before. Sometimes you just gotta do it though!

Yes, but do you have Amazon Prime Shipping?

*G* I had it for a year. Fortunately, their re-billing bounced and it got cancelled - otherwise I'd still be ordering away. I wouldn't even be reading your blog. I would be combing Amazon right now...
