wazzup, weather gods?!

Last Saturday, I went out for the day with a sweater tucked in my bag, just in case, and walked around outside all day without needing to use it.

Today, I wore long sleeves, a sweater, a jacket, my winter coat, a hat, and a scarf, and was still freezing my caboose off.

One week!! One week to get from balmy to Siberian!

We had that same evil weather pattern this week in Denver. A 30 degree shift within two days. Tuesday was in the upper 70's, and on Thursday, they predicted snow. Grrr...

I like it when the weather switches up on you; you don't get tired of whatever it is. At the end of summer, I'm always sick of the sunshine; at the end of winter it's nice to be warm again. If it switched up every week or so, you'd never be bored.

Of course, I've lived in California all my life, so even during the winter months it doesn't get too bad.

Sounds normal to me. Stuff like that happens all the time.

This is a moment of global synchronicity: we've got the same weather in the UK that you're just complaining about. I was woken by hail on my window this morning.

"green knight" is so right about global synchronicity.

Ever since the last Modjadji(rain queen)died in 2005 South Africa's weather has been crazy!

We're supposed to be heading for the highveldt summer (dry, hot days with short sharp thunderstorms in the afternoon.) Instead, we've had TEN DAYS of non-stop heavy rains, followed by a week of erratic weather ranging from hot & humid to freezing cold. In November!

As Moonrat says, "Wazzup, weather gods?!"

Sounds to me like the weather gods have decided to model the world weather on Saskatchewan, Canada. I'm sorry.

We're getting that in Maine too - 60s last week, 20s this week. Ah, November.

I'm in Wisconsin; we sent that to you. Sorry. But enough stayed here to pay us back.

Were you in Melbourne, Australia?

I was boiling two weeks ago, with hot days and now it's cold again and it's snowing on the hills - with a week to go before summer.

As my aunty in the UK says "There's no such thing as unsuitable weather, just unsuitable clothing."

BJ, that explains it. I grew up in Saskatchewan. Must be why I find that normal.

Whoa, I'm really late to the party on this post but ITOTALLYEFFINGAGREE! I HATE cold weather and it's been like January weather the past week. Luckily today was a little warmer, but still. The weather Gods have a lot to make up for.
