she tried to keep it from us!!! (one more for the Mischief!!!)

She sneakily hid this post on a different blog, but I've sniffed her out!! Kimberley Griffiths Little has just been contracted in a three-book deal with Scholastic for two middle grade novels and one YA novel! Look out in stores near you soon for THE HEALING SPELL, SECRET RITES OF THE GODDESS, and THE TRAITEUR'S DAUGHTER.

Congratulations, Kimberley!

Good news! We could all do with a central billboard where new book deals are pinned to give everyone hope. Deals are still being made, books are being sold ... keep the faith!

Oh my gosh! I pull up my new Bloglines posts and find that you've posted about ME! I'm absolutely stunned, choked up, and feeling a little embarrassed.

I didn't try to hide it - honest!
I just hadn't copied and pasted onto my Blogspot yet. I've been, um, sort of giddy dancing around the house a lot lately. Um, feeling guilty now.

But come to my party, everyone! There's catered food, an open bar, and all the non-caloric desserts you can stuff into your mouth!

Thank you so much everyone for the congrats! I'm honestly and truly overwhelmed and touched.

Thank you so much Cindy and Precie - you guys are so sweet and generous! I'm really overwhelmed.

Eating more German chocolate cake now . . . I don't care if it's for breakfast! An ice cold glass of milk will balance it out, right?

I'm so thrilled for you, Kimberly! Can't wait to hear more about the books!!! :)

THANK YOU, Lisa!

So you're on both Live Journal and Blogspot, too. I ended up mirroring posts on both because I ended up meeting writers and friends in both places. And I do Bloglines. I read/skim close to 200 blogs a day. Whew!

I need to do some updating and link to them all.
