Saturday Morning Indie Rock Moment

Watch this awesome new video, A Good Cafe on George Street, from The Rosie Taylor Project, a very lovable new indie band from Leeds.

My friend and birthday twin Jonny Davies is the extremely skinny lead singer. I think he's my "friend" because he slept on my couch once for more than a week, so this seems fair. But now he's all skinny and famous. Although to be honest he was skinny before, too.

Also, can someone explain to me how I can upload an actual video instead of a link? I've tried to figure this out like 8 times now. Sigh.

Most videos [e.g. Youtube] have embed html next to them. Draft a new post, change the tab from compose to edit html, Paste in embed code where you want it to appear [e.g. after or before text. Then preview/post.

I uploaded my own video by clicking the little movie symbol while doing my post. It works just like inerting a picture.

I managed to post a YouTube (see the post on Jon Stewart et al) but I can't remember what buttons I pushed!

I had a roommate in college who slept on the couch. He went on to become a local town councillor. Not quite the same as a rock star, but the guitarist for Glass Tiger lived in my mom's basement (which is now my basement).

when I go to upload a new post to blogger there is an icon at the top that allows me to upload videos.

I remember Glass Tiger! "Don't Forget Me While I'm Gone", right? Right?

I love this video! Very retro and end-of-their-band-years Beatles-ish.

(Are those enough hyphens in one sentence?)

Well, I was going to offer advice on uploading a video instead of just a link, but but Alex P seems to have done it already! :-)

Very cool video!

Agreed, Cyn. Just HOW LONG is this gosh-darned 'holiday' going to be?
