Prince Harry in Afghanistan

This sucks.

The poor guy is trying to do something with his life--and is even putting himself at considerable risk--and the press chooses to make it into a gossip stunt that puts him in greater danger and really undermines the whole point of things.

If you're going to throw money around in Afghanistan, why not put it toward a rehabilitation organization to help seriously suffering Afghans (of whom I have a hunch there is probably more than one) instead of toward stalking the poor prince?

Thanks, HomeInKabul, for the link.

Agree completley.

And is it just me, or is Prince Harry way hotter than Prince William?

I like Will's looks better, but Harry seems like an engaging fellow. Too bad his military usefulness has been cocked up by idiot bloggers. It must grate on him.

yes, well... apparently it's an open secret in Britain that Harry isn't Charles's son. i just learned this recently, but apparently everyone in England has known about it for like 23 years. which means Harry is slightly less inbred.

all these things sound mean, but i hear they are both lovely people. and i do wish people would leave them more alone.

Yes it was very irritating when this broke.

And the story endangered his unit as well as the prince.
Did they think the Taliban don't monitor the media?

I totally agree. This stinks the big one. People and gossip reporters...paps...need to get a life

Harry isn't Charles son? I find that difficult to believe, actually. But where can I read about it? LOL. He does look like his Mum and nothing like his dad, though.

Uff, this still makes me angry.

Really? Not his son? Never heard that. But then I've never been in britain other than the airports...

I was also shocked to hear the breaking story of Harry in Afghanistan! Are there no values left in the press? Is it more important to have a big story and risk people's lives? It's a disgrace.
Take care
