misuse of an apostrophe ends only in disappointment
My blog is #10 on google under "100 best girls ass's" which, I can only imagine, could only have been a little disappointing for the browser.
Not that, you know, I'm NOT among the 100 best girl Asses, but there aren't any pictures.
Now if the browser had punctuated properly--"100 best girls' asses"--I wouldn't have come up at all.
Let's hope my visitor happened upon this page during his/her browse.

When I click your link you rank at #4. So you're either moving up in the world or I've got some serious porn filters working for me.
Nice ass. *snort*
why thank you.
i notice, however, that i've fallen to #30 now. hmm.
That's only because you've been confined to your office chair for the past two weeks. Once up and moving again, you'll perk right up. ;)
I dunno. I think there's a challenge in there somewhere . . . ?
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you ran that search because your analytics showed an incoming hit, and it wasn't just an *ahem* speculative google...
I also hoped they found this site, Apostrophe Abuse (with photos).
Another hapless Googler shot down from fulfilling their fantasies on the internet. It really is a shame...
Well, then there is the moon bit.
An aside. Do you follow Mark Aronson's blog, Non-fiction Matters on the SLJ site?
He has invited and author, Elizabeth Partridge, and an editor, Jill Davis of Bloomsbury, to describe the process involved in creating a non-fiction picture book.
I am curious. Is this process similar to yours?
Katherine
alex: benefit of said doubt is much appreciated, if perhaps unwarranted.
katherine: MOON. excellent point. "moonrat the ed ass" could just be "moon ass," eh? very clever.
and i hadn't seen the mark aronson thing, but now i'm looking. i'll try to post on this later because it's very interesting. thanks for the tip.
and wayne: as my sister would say here, "obvi."
