Life is more managable when you focus on small, executable goals.

Or something.

1) Edit 50 pages of current very funny ms.
2) Assemble next season list and get to marketing & production
3) Look over proofs of history ms and get galley order out
4) Read proposals for 2 hours
5) Get materials ready for ed meeting tomorrow
8) Leave by 8 pm, a the LATEST

For tomorrow:

Professional holiday greeting cards! Woot!

Don't hurt yourself.

You're probably not going to get many posters here, on your post about "lists," when you have a post about "kissing" right below it.

You're way too organized. I'm jealous!

yay for to do lists.

"To do" lists of small things that you can actually check as done can lull you to a pleasant feeling of achievement. I need that every now and then when I'm overwhelmed by much bigger tasks.
But do leave earlier than 8 pm... :-)

So? How's your list doing?

Every once in a while, I like to write really basic to-do lists so I feel I'm making progress...things like "eat breakfast" (which isn't as automatic as you might think).

Hooray for professional holiday greeting cards! I like lining up the ones from the same imprint on my shelf. Nothing like 10 identical greeting cards to put you in the holiday spirit.

Just to make sure you have it:

On my last To Do list, the first entry was "Write To Do list." I did get a lot of pleasure from checking that one off. Not sure if I ever made it to the items below it or not.

I hope you're on your way home now.

I'm late going in to work, after my early morning blog catch-up.

Half a world away....

I like making these kind of lists myself.

Those don't sound so small. But you do sound organised and that's half the battle.

LOL Paca. Isn't it a bit hard to hold the pen in those hooves?

I'm definitely a list person. There's something deeply satisfying about crossing things off.

I stand corrected.
People like lists.
(You learn something new every day!)

Busy. Busy. Busy. At least you have a list. I tend to run around, as my sainted Irish mother used to say, "like a chicken with it's head cut off..."
