I think I have some kind of problem.

I have receieved (count 'em!!) SIX BOOKS from Amazon used book vendors today, each in separate packages.

Has anyone noticed that I read (on average) a book and a half a week, but buy (on average) SIX BOOKS A DAY?!?!

Boo, one-click shopping. Boo.

Damn Amazon, the reason I have a stack of 140-150 books still unread. I order them in batches and forget about them until they arrive months later. this weekend: Six books. I'm working on #4 right now.

but I must really blame the backlog on the post-Katrina sale at a salvage store...over fifty books in one fast shopping spree...

I'll join the support group... I have boxes of books to go through, and I read an awful lot, but Amazon isn't my worst problem, it's much worse when I'm in a flesh and blood bookstore and all the pretty booksies are calling my name.

I never manage to leave without an armload, half of which I didn't intend to buy until reading the backcover... sigh... could be worse, as far as addictions go, this one won't give you cancer or reduce brain cells...

Takes a lot of will power and discipline, but I've decided not to buy new books until I read the ones I've bought. No trips to the bookstore, no Amazon surfing... :-)

A book and a half a week - you're fortunate! I envy you, but in the best of ways. :-)

I wouldn't say I have a problem...but my husband would disagree.

I think Amazon would agree with me. Sigh.
