right or left brain?

Also, Angelle found this. It's a Daily Telepgraph article that gives you a simple test to show whether you're more of a right-brain or left-brain thinker.

Now someone please explain to me what I can do with that knowledge.

I'm totally confused. How could you possibly see that dancer turning anti-clockwise? I don't get it. I didn't think being right or left brained could effect how you see things. She's turning clockwise, what else it there to see?

*sigh* So confused.

I can make it go either direction. At first it was going anti-clockwise, then I refocused and it was going the other way. I guess it depends on the frequency you use the sides of your brain day-to-day.

Anyway, if you like illusions and eye-to-brain weirdness, have you seen the dragon illusion? It's here:

I made one of these a week or two ago and me and my employee wasted an entire afternoon wandering from side-to-side and bobbing up and down until we both got headaches.

I was with maprilynne at first. Then I was the exact opposite. I was like "they changed it! now she's totally going the other way!"

Then I figured out that since it is a silhouette, you can imagine her leg being closer to you OR farther from you depending on how you want to see it. So that's how you change it.

Also, couldn't they have put some clothes on the poor girl? Weird.

I only see it going clockwise. I can't get it to go anti-clockwise.

cheryl--I had the same thought about clothing! LOL!

moonrat--As for what you can do with this knowledge about yourself, it's all about self-awareness and maximizing your potential. You can learn to maximize your cognitive strengths and work on your weaknesses.

Looking at the breakdown, I can understand why I only see her turning clockwise...impetuous, risk taking, well, really all the "right brain" characteristics...yup, that's me.

I can make her go either clock or counter.
