I finished reading a book, and it made me sad, and now I can't go to sleep.

This is why it's important to read only when you don't have time to reflect on the book afterwards.

I was fortunate enough to finish Sarah Langan's new novel, The Missing, at 2pm this afternoon, so it's probably not going to keep me up. Thankfully.

Yes, what was the book. I love it when that happens. I still think about Ha Jin's Waiting. What an ending. Or Anne Tyler's Digging to America, Lois Lowry's The Giver. All are amazing books with endings that leave you gasping.
