Hey, now. I'm a Texan. Granted, I live in TN now, but Texas will always be home.

For the record, I own neither a truck nor a firearm, and never have.

I thought it was all Americans not just Texans? Always entertained by all that guff about defence against opression by the state. Somehow poor old Macaulay always end sup dragged into it too.

Do you not get Neighbours? That's always good sick day TV.

In Nebraska, we have guns, trucks AND corncob hats.

In the 80s I was stationed in the Army in TX. Every pickup seemingly had an automatic rifle in the gun rack. Not just a rifle or a shotgun, but Uzis or M-16s. I was a bit bemused by that.

But not everyone has a truck or a gun.
